2020 Domaine Verret Chardonnay

A family estate for many years (the first traces dating back to 1750), Domaine Verret, located in the northern region of Burgundy, now operates 66 hectares of vines in the villages of Saint Bris, Irancy and Chablis. One generation after another the passion and the love for the terroirs are still intact. The attention paid to the vines paired with a secular know how, Verret’s range boasts the character and personality of the great Burgundy wines, elegance, complexity and richness.

Tasting notes The discreet and complex nose needs to be unveiled. Starting with a mineral undertone, delicate flowery and fruity aromas of lily, honeysuckle, acacia, citrus and ripe apple appear. On the palate you will first feel the cutting edge of the citrussy freshness that leads to notes of ripe white flesh fruits. It is also easy to discover the beginnings of a kind of unctuosity, a buttery honey side that will intensify with time.
