2021 Domaine d’Ardhuy Corton Grand cru ‘’Le Clos du Roi’’
A Wine producer in Burgundy since 1927. From Gevrey-Chambertin to Puligny-Montrachet including Clos de Vougeot, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Ladoix, Pommard or Meursault, the Domaine d'Ardhuy provides a wide range of Burgundy terroir.
Located in Côte d'Or, right in the middle of Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, Domaine d'Ardhuy offers a trip into the diversity of Burgundy wines, including his famous plot "Le Clos des Langres" Monopole. We look after our 125 plots of vineyards with respect for their unique characteristics and typicality of Climats de Bourgogne. 38.5 hectares of vineyard for 45 Appellations produced including 6 Grands Cru, 15 Premiers Crus and 15 Villages.
Tasting notes. An intense, purplish-red colour, and a mineral aroma not often easily detectable when the wine is young. On the palate the wine is powerful, but with hidden reserves. The tension and mineral characteristics of this wine require several years of cellaring before full potential can be reached.
