2021 Domaine Pinson Premier cru ”Fôret’’

A Domaine who has a family history in Chablis for more than 450 years. A father and daughter winemaking team with an uncle as a viticulturist who have a passion for excellence, harvesting by hand to select the best grapes with their king grape variety being Chardonnay. A love of working in the vines and Chablis soil, we embrace the perfect marriage blending tradition and modern techniques, rigour, and respect for the environment.

Tasting notes: The 2021 Chablis La Fôret 1er Cru comes from 67-year-old vines that are used for Pinson's massal selection program. This has a clean and precise bouquet, lively with light granite and apple blossom scents. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite taut and fresh, lively with a subtle twist of bitter lemon lending tension on the finish.
