Tasting notes. This parcel produces about 46hl/ha on average. The Ladoix 1er Cru “Le Rognet” is a true child of Corton Charlemagne, and has all the characteristic qualities of that wine. A lovely pale colour, elegant floral and rich mineral notes, and a lively tension. Perhaps nothing more is missing than the additional complexity and richness that ageing will bring to prove this wine worthy of Grand Cru status.
